Aakrosh- The Street Play Society of Shyam Lal College (M), works for the social awareness in society with creativity of music, theatre, and deep down research on various topics. Aakrosh has displayed plays on various topics like ‘Importance of Voting’, ‘Fundamental Duties’,‘Drug De- Addiction’, ‘Gender biased Laws’ and ‘Intolerance’. We have always taken forward our topics and raised our voices to various platforms; thereby Aakrosh went to IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee and Jaipur for its performances. Performing in Delhi and NCR is always frequent as there are many opportunities offered by various colleges of Delhi University and also by private institutions. Aakrosh has also bagged many prizes at various levels. Our motive has always been to showcase the right ideals to society and with the team effort; we have been successfully doing so for the past 7 developing years.
