Founded in 1964 by the great visionary and entrepreneur Padmashree (late) Shri Shyam Lal Gupta, Shyam Lal College (SLC) is a co-educational constituent college of the University of Delhi. SLC is among the best institutions in the entire University of Delhi, and over the past several years, has been making steady progress towards achieving academic excellence. SLC is a dynamic centre of academic excellence and aspires to make quality education accessible to the students, especially girls, from economically and educationally disadvantaged community of East Delhi.
